We opened the match with strong intent in the field, maintaining good energy and creating pressure throughout our nine overs. Helen, Ruth, and Gemma each struck with the ball, helping us keep the innings competitive and disciplined across the board.
Our batting showed plenty of fight. Izzy led our scoring with 19, while Ruth and Gemma added 16 apiece as we worked hard to keep the runs flowing despite regular wickets. Though it was a tough chase, we played with determination right through to the final ball and demonstrated real resilience as a group.
